Municipality

Jalpan is a municipality in the state of Puebla, its name means "On the sand of the Hill", its main historical construction is the parish Temple in honor of San Bartolo built in the 16th century, from which its festivity on the 24th and 25th begins. August festivities in honor of San Bartolo, masses, prayers, pilgrimages, processions, burning of fireworks, mechanical games, music bands, native dances and popular dance.
