Mazapiltepec de Juárez is a municipality in the state of Puebla, its name means "on the hill of the little deer or fawn", it has some architectural structures such as the church of Santa Margarita and the clock that dates back to 1926 and from which the festival starts. The main festival on July 20 and 21 is the patron saint of Saint Margaret the Martyr, who comes from Antioch. She is probably a virgin martyr from the 3rd century. Her cult passed from east to west during the time of the Crusades. There are buildings for tourism. with religious architecture, adorned with paintings and murals and the Cristo Rey hill, which is located half an hour from the municipal seat.
