Municipality

Nopalucan is a municipality in the state of Puebla, its name means "place full of nopales or nopalera", it has beautiful architectural places such as the church built in honor of Lord Santiago in the 16th century and the monument to Juan de la Granja, located in the municipal seat, they also have the Juan de la Granja Regional Telecommunications Museum. July 25 is celebrated in honor of Señor Santiago, the regional fair in September, there is an exhibition of sawdust carpets in the main streets, a variety of dishes that are made with the cactus, its tourist attraction is the Santa Cruz lagoon, with a forested area, the Buenavista ravine and the Cerro del Pinal.
