Municipality

Palmar de Bravo is a municipality located in the central eastern part of the state of Puebla, its old name of Zoyatlán, means "Camino del Palmar", from the Mexican voices, the most iconic structure in the region is the church of San Agustín that dates back to end of the 16th century, located in the municipal seat and from which the local fair takes place around August 28, the festival of the Patron Saint of San Agustín, where palm fabric is manufactured and ixtle ropes are made.
