It dates back to 1752 and is built in Greco-Roman style and carved in grey stone. It occupies a privileged place since the Marian devotion in Amozoc is very great. It is decorated in gold and houses an image of Our Lady of the Assumption, the patron saint of the place. It has two chapels, one dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows, where you can see a collection of paintings from the 18th century on the life of the Virgin Mary, and another in Baroque style dedicated to our Father Jesus. It is closed on Wednesdays.
