One of the main characteristics of the building, located on Avenida Reforma Norte in the municipality of San Andrés Cholula, are the gold-plated walls and the peculiar Mexican iconography composed of dark-skinned angels, niches with plumes of feathers, tropical fruits and corn cobs; recreating the Christian world and recounting episodes of the annunciation, conception and coronation of the Virgin.

San Andrés Cholula is a municipality in the Mexican state of Puebla, located in the central-western region of the same, it has various buildings and tourist attractions such as the Parish of San Andrés Cholula, the Archaeological Zone of Cholula, site museum, Church of los Remedios, Church of Santa María Tonanzintla, National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics, Church of San Francisco Ecatepec, among many, Cholula is best known as the city of 1000 churches, although it does not reach that number, it has a large number of churches currently standing and from which various neighborhood festivals are generated for the patron of the parish or temple.
