Municipality

San Juan Atzompa is a municipality in the state of Puebla, its name means "in the hair of water", the main architectural construction is the Church of San Juan Bautista, dating from the 16th century, located in the center of the municipal seat, of the which on June 24 is celebrated Saint John's Day; from January 11 to 20, an annual festival in which the municipality is visited by people from other towns and cities, it has the attraction of hunting deer, wild boar, puma, wild cat, hare, field rabbit, badger, fox and coyote.
