San Martín Totoltepec is a municipality in the state of Puebla, its name means "on the hill of birds", due to the abundance of wild birds in the place, it has beautiful architectural structures such as the church of San Martín erected in the 16th century; which is located within the town and remains open for the reception of parishioners 365 days a year, the main festival is celebrated from November 7 to 14, with a fair, processions, jaripeos, bulls, popular dances, masses and prayers, On April 25, the founding of the municipality is celebrated and it is celebrated with parades in which the schools participate. The first Friday of Lent is celebrated with fireworks, dances, jaripeos and masses.
