Cerro Pachon is located in the municipality of San Miguel Ixitla, with landscapes of great panoramic beauty and from which very peculiar stalactite-type formations are generated.
San Miguel Ixitlán is a municipality in the state of Puebla. Its name means “next to the foot or immediately at the Base” (of the hill). Its most important architectural constructions are the 16th century parish church dedicated to San Miguel Arcángel, patron saint of which begins with the festival of September 29, is celebrated with prayers, masses, fireworks, mechanical games, sports games, bull races, horse races, jaripeo, popular dance and flowers, there is a jagüey for breeding carp fish called “Tiancodo” on the limits of the town, there is also “Natural Rocks” in the Town Hall area where you can see hieroglyphs, a cave where pre-Hispanic tribes inhabited them.
September 29th, is celebrated with prayers, masses, fireworks, mechanical games, sports games, bull races, horse races, rodeo, folk dance and flowers. Traditions: Celebration of Holy Week. All Saints and faithful deceased, with offerings and the cemeteries are colored with floral arrangements on November 1st and 2nd.
