Every September 9, hundreds of taco vendors gather to celebrate San Nicolás de Tolentino, the patron saint of the town of San Nicolás de Buenos Aires. During the 10 days of the festival, free tacos are offered at more than 300 different stands. Cultural and religious events and popular dances are also organized.

Municipality

San Nicolás Buenos Aires is one of the 217 municipalities that make up the state of Puebla, it is part of the third region of the state, it has beautiful Architectural structures such as the parish church dedicated to San Nicolás Tolentino, dating from the 16th century, the chapel of the Virgin of Guadalupe, sculpture of Christ the King and the chapel of Carmen, on September 10 the patron saint's day is celebrated in honor of San Nicolás Tolentino, for tourism it has the archaeological zone, it corresponds to a settlement which extends towards the hillside El Brujo hill, the area has a pre-Hispanic terrace system

Festivities

On September 10th, the patronal feast is celebrated in honor of San Nicolás Tolentino; the last Sunday of November is a celebration in honor of Christ the King. On September 15th, national holidays; November 1st and 2nd, celebration of All Saints and Faithful Departed; and Holy Week is celebrated with devotion; December 12th in honor of the Virgin of Guadalupe; Christmas and New Year.
