Chapel of the Holy Burial in Atempan, colonial style, neoclassical. The doorway has an entrance with a semicircular arch, flanked by pilasters; above is the choir window and the mixtilinear finial; the latter between small camps with a cupola.
The municipality of Atempan means on the bank or riverbank of the river, it belongs to the Sierra Norte of the State of Puebla, it has architectural heritage such as the parish church dating from the 16th century, dedicated to San Francisco de Asís, the Church of Calvary, the atrium of the parish and the "Capilla del Santo Entierro", on October 4, San Francisco de Asís is celebrated with masses, fairs, native dances of "Tocotines", "Santiagos", "Quetzalines", "Negritos" and " Bullfighters".
On October 4th, Saint Francis of Assisi is celebrated with masses, fairs, and indigenous dances of the "Tocotines", "Santiagos", "Quetzalines", "Negritos" and "Toreadores".
