San Salvador Huixcolotla is a municipality located in the central part of the State of Puebla, its name means “place of thorns”, it has iconic architecture of the region such as the Church of the Divine Savior, dating from the 18th century, located in the municipal seat. from which the annual fair starts from August 6 to 14 of each year, the patron saint, the Divine Savior, is celebrated, November 11 the patron saint's festival in honor of San Martín, in the neighborhood of the same name; June 13, the patron saint's day of San Antonio in the same neighborhood of San Antonio and July 16, the patron saint's day celebrated in the Calvario neighborhood.
