Santiago Miahuatlán (from Nahuatl: Miahuatl ear of corn, and; tlán place, Between ears of corn.) is one of the 217 municipalities of the state of Puebla, its main architectural construction is the parish temple built in the 16th century, dedicated to the Lord Santiago, of which Santiago Apóstol is celebrated on July 25, with masses, local fair, prayers, processions, fireworks, this place, like Tehuacán, specializes in the “hiperas” or backbone mole season.
