Municipality

Soltepec is one of the 217 municipalities of the Mexican state of Puebla, the municipality is located in the central part of the state of Puebla, its name means "on the hill of the quail" the most important construction they have is the parish in honor of San Hipólito built in the 17th century and a prehistoric stone installed in the plinth, which is shaped like a casserole, on August 13 the patron saint festival of San Hipólito Soltepec is celebrated, in the municipal seat.
