Within the municipality of Tenampulco, there is the Apulco River, the Metzonate River that runs through the municipality, very conducive to ecotourism.

Municipality

Tenampulco is one of the 217 municipalities that make up the state of Puebla. It is located on the northeastern border of the state with Veracruz, it has architectural spaces such as the Parish Church dedicated to María Santísima de la Natividad, dating from the 17th century and the Municipal Palace dating from the 18th century, on September 8 they celebrate with grandeur, the Nativity of Mary as the main festivity with processions, the entry of the wax and its delivery, with masses, fireworks, popular dances and dances of Quetzalines, Voladores, Tejedores and Huehues, for ecotourism they have the Apulco River, the Metzonate, a waterfall and caves in the community of Florida, there are also stone engravings in the town of El Chacal.

Festivities

On September 8th they celebrate with grandeur, the Nativity of Mary as the main festivity with processions, the entrance of the wax and its delivery, which represents the change of stewardship, who must organize the religious event the following year; on December 12th, the Virgin of Guadalupe, with masses, fireworks, popular dances and dances of Quetzalines, Voladores, Tejedores and Huehues.
