The parish church dedicated to the Virgin of Guadalupe is a religious building built in the 20th century and from where the main celebration takes place on December 12 in honor of the Virgin of Guadalupe.

Municipality

Venustiano Carranza is a municipality in the state of Puebla. Its original name is Atlytztic, a Nahua voice composed of "atl", water; and "tztiz", cold, and "c", place; which mean "place of cold water", its main architectural structure is a parish temple dedicated to the Virgin of Guadalupe; built in the 20th century, from which its popular festival of December 12, a patron saint's day in honor of the Virgin of Guadalupe, begins, it is celebrated with masses, marriages, baptisms, communions, pilgrimages of neighborhoods and rancherías; native dances, jaripeo, fireworks and music bands, they have a Golf Club in "Agua Fría" with pool service, sports fields and some cabins.

Festivities

On December 12, the patronal feast in honor of the Virgin of Guadalupe, they celebrate with masses, weddings, baptisms, communions, pilgrimages of neighborhoods and ranches; native dances, rodeo, fireworks and music bands. On November 1 and 2, All Saints' Day and the Faithful Departed are celebrated with offerings and visits to the cemetery; they also traditionally celebrate Holy Week.
