Founded in 1993, in honor of the watchmaker Alberto Olvera Hernández, founder of the First Monumental Clock Factory in Latin America: “Relojes Centenario”. One of its pieces is found in the Zacatlán main square, the Floral Clock. The collection is made up of objects that narrate the measurement of time throughout the centuries. Visitors can take a tour of the entire factory and experience the entire process of making a clock.
Zacatlán is a municipality located in the north of the Mexican state of Puebla. Its name means Place where grass abounds, it has beautiful architectural sites such as the Church and former convent from the 16th century, the Municipal Presidency, the statue of Lic. Benito Juárez, the Monumental Clock outdoors, as well as the House of Culture and the Alberto Olvera Hernández Museum, the Apple Fair takes place from August 13 to 21, it has tourist options such as the San Pedro waterfall located in Atmatla, where you can swim and enjoy the panoramic views and the Valley of Piedras Encimadas found in San Miguel Tenango, a 45-minute drive from the town center.
