The Karmidas Caves, this natural wonder takes its name from its discoverer Don Miguel Manzano Lobato and is located on the outskirts of the town. Its access is through a tunnel where a stream runs; it measures approximately 1.5 meters wide by 2 meters high and after traveling 30 meters you reach a room, which branches off into other smaller ones, including: the room of silence and the enchanted lagoon.
Zapotitlán de Méndez is a municipality in the state of Puebla, its name means "among the zapotes" and it has several historical monuments such as the parish church dedicated to the Virgin of the Nativity, the Morelos Bridge from the late 19th century, and the bell tower outside the church from the 16th century.
