Zapotitlán de Méndez is a municipality in the state of Puebla, its name means "among the zapotes" and it has several historical monuments such as the parish church dedicated to the Virgin of the Nativity, the Morelos Bridge from the late 19th century, and the bell tower outside the church from the 16th century. The Municipal Palace dates back to the 19th century, and the patron saint festival is celebrated on September 8 in honor of the Virgin of the Nativity.
