Located in the municipal capital of Hueyotlipan, formerly a Franciscan convent, it is now the cultural center where events and workshops are presented for the population.

Hueyotlipan is a Mexican municipality in the western part of the state of Tlaxcala, its name means "on the main or large road" and has beautiful historical buildings such as the Convent of San Idelfonso and Guadalupe dating back to the 16th century, the San Simeon Temple, the Chapel of the Virgin of Light, as well as numerous haciendas such as La Recova, its construction dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries, San Blas, San Lorenzo and many more. The religious celebration is in honor of the patron saint San Idelfonso, bishop of Toledo. This date is transferable, if January 23 is a weekday it is transferred to the following Sunday.
