This is a 50-hectare body of water, located near San José del Cabo. The meeting of fresh and salt water creates a habitat conducive to the proliferation of particular species of flora and fauna. It has abundant vegetation and you might be lucky enough to spot a seagull. This beautiful bird has the curious peculiarity of being one of the few that migrates from south to north and one of its stops is the estuary.

Municipality

Los Cabos is one of the five municipalities of the state of Baja California Sur before being called San José del Cabo, the Pericues named it Anuiti, it also received the name of San Bernabé, it is one of the most important tourist destinations in Mexico, for its variety of eco-tourism destinations and activities such as the Natural Arch of Cabo San Lucas, whale watching and various beaches.

Festivities

The most important festivities in the area are Saint Joseph's Day and the founding of San José del Cabo, during which they wear traditional clothing such as the Pitahaya Flower and Cuera dresses.
