The Xbulan - Ja Tourist Center (Jerusalem Pier) in Las Margaritas is a tourist center located on the banks of the Santo Domingo River, next to the southern border highway in the community of Nueva Jerusalén; where the river's waters become calm and allow for trips in wooden canoes or kayaks and for descending into the river to be able to do swimming activities in calm water pools.
Las Margaritas is one of the municipalities of the Mexican state of Chiapas, it is located in the south-east part of the state and its capital is the town of Las Margaritas, among the tourist attractions that the municipality has are the archaeological ruins of Xintahual, San Joaquín, San Mateo Paloma Real, Los Cimientos and Monte Guerrero, the temple of Santa Margarita, the Santo Domingo Waterfalls and the beauty of the rivers, lagoons and natural landscapes of the municipality.
In Las Margaritas the most important celebration is the celebration of San Sebastian, Santa Cruz, Virgin of Guadalupe and Santa Margarita. Traditionally, the Day of the Dead is celebrated.
