La Lupe Island in Acapetahua is located about 3 km from the Barra Zacapulco Turtle Camp. In this small fishing village, time seems to stand still and leaves its visitors alone before the immensity of the ocean, surrounded by new sounds: birds, insects, nocturnal animals and of course the waves of the sea. In this environment, a group of artisans carve coconuts and create figures from shells and snails. Hospitality is also an art in this community. If you need anything, ask at the Bahías del Mar cooperative.
