The Misol-há Tourist Center in Salto de Agua is a center where you can rest and admire this beautiful waterfall of approximately 30 meters high, which when falling, forms a wide pool where it is possible, with caution, to practice swimming. This refreshing and beautiful place is located in a typical example of the high tropical forest of the Chiapas mountains, and in the middle of a rich vegetation composed of tall specimens of mahogany, chicozapotes and palo de agua.
The municipality of Salto de Agua is one of the municipalities that make up the state of Chiapas, it includes part of the Agua Azul Waterfalls Flora and Fauna Protection Area, it is one of the main ecotourism spots in Chiapas with attractions such as the Misol-ha waterfall, the Agua Clara Eco-tourist Ejidal Tourist Center or Colen-há. As for its vegetation, there is a flora made up of various species such as olive, aguacatillo, arnica, begonia, chicozapote colorado, bamboo, copal and wild chincuya among others.
In Salto de Agua the most important celebrations are the feast of the Trinity, the Virgin of the Conception, the Holy Family and the Virgin of Guadalupe.
