The Agua Clara Eco-tourist Center in Salto de Agua is located to the southwest of the city of Palenque, via federal highway 199 Palenque-Ocosingo, at kilometer 46 take the detour that leads to the town of Agua Clara after two kilometers, the name of the tourist center derives from its location in the town of Agua Clara. This attraction has the necessary facilities to enjoy the natural environment.
The municipality of Salto de Agua is one of the municipalities that make up the state of Chiapas, it includes part of the Agua Azul Waterfalls Flora and Fauna Protection Area, it is one of the main ecotourism spots in Chiapas with attractions such as the Misol-ha waterfall, the Agua Clara Eco-tourist Ejidal Tourist Center or Colen-há. As for its vegetation, there is a flora made up of various species such as olive, aguacatillo, arnica, begonia, chicozapote colorado, bamboo, copal and wild chincuya among others.
In Salto de Agua the most important celebrations are the feast of the Trinity, the Virgin of the Conception, the Holy Family and the Virgin of Guadalupe.
