The Poza Azul Eco-tourist Center in Salto de Agua is located at the entrance of the municipality of Salto de Agua Chiapas, it has the necessary facilities to enjoy the natural environment, camping, caving, hiking, rappelling and swimming, the site is one of the most spectacular in Salto de Agua Chiapas, the name of the tourist center derives from the place that makes a natural pool, framed by jungle vegetation, which marks the end of an underground river. The Eco-tourist Center has a restaurant, parking lot, camping area, bathrooms, stairs, and a trail.
The municipality of Salto de Agua is one of the municipalities that make up the state of Chiapas, it includes part of the Agua Azul Waterfalls Flora and Fauna Protection Area, it is one of the main ecotourism spots in Chiapas with attractions such as the Misol-ha waterfall, the Agua Clara Eco-tourist Ejidal Tourist Center or Colen-há. As for its vegetation, there is a flora made up of various species such as olive, aguacatillo, arnica, begonia, chicozapote colorado, bamboo, copal and wild chincuya among others.
