The parish and former convent of San Jerónimo in Aculco dates back to 1540. Its façade is derived from the Tetiqui style of the 16th century, which, following a European model, was interpreted by the indigenous taste of its builders. In the central courtyard of the convent you can admire a sundial dating from the 18th century and in the vestry of the parish there are valuable oil paintings, including a large canvas depicting the Last Supper by the renowned painter Miguel Cabrera. Municipality

Aculco is one of the municipalities of the Mexican state of State of Mexico, was formed by the Otomi and later conquered by the Mexicas in the 14th century, its current name comes from the Nahuatl language and means "place where the water twists", it retains the features of its traditional architecture full of alleys and houses with large patios.
