The former Franciscan convent of Cuautinchán, a monumental work from the 16th century in Renaissance style, measures 80 meters wide, 143.70 meters long, 20 meters high and has a dome of 27 meters. It was completed in 1593. The most outstanding feature on the exterior is its façade, which is reminiscent of the 16th century ministerial churches in Florence.

Municipality

Cuautinchán is a municipality located in the central part of the Mexican state of Puebla, it is located about 35 km east of the state capital, it has important architectural constructions that serve as an attraction for visitors, such as the former Franciscan convent, a very important monument. On November 1st and 2nd, the Day of the Dead is commemorated with offerings and floral arrangements.
