The façade of the temple dedicated to Saint John the Baptist is sober and lacks ornamentation; the interior has a single nave with a ribbed barrel vault, the apse is polygonal with a tracery roof typical of the Isabelline Gothic style. The main altarpiece is from the 16th century, carved in wood with Plateresque elements.

Municipality

Cuautinchán is a municipality located in the central part of the Mexican state of Puebla, it is located about 35 km east of the state capital, it has important architectural constructions that serve as an attraction for visitors, such as the former Franciscan convent, a very important monument.
