The Temple of the Immaculate Conception was built by the priest Procopio del Toro, it cost 20,000 and it was erected in three years. The main altar collapsed at the beginning of the century with an earthquake. The floor was made of wood and in 1920 it was removed and placed again in the chapel dedicated to the Virgin of Fatima. Currently the temple does not have worship and the space is used mainly for doctrinal purposes and meetings of Catholic associations.
