This colonial-style building, with its portal structure, houses the powers of the municipality of Guadalupe.
Guadalupe is a municipality in the state of Puebla. Its original name is formed from the Nahua words, "atl", water and "chipini", drip; “Agua que dripa”, which was later changed to Guadalupe, the historical monument, the parish temple in dedication to Santa Ana, who is established as the patron saint of the town and from where it takes its name, from which the main festivity begins on December 26. July, patron saint's day in honor of Santa Ana, celebrated with masses, prayers, processions, fireworks, music bands and dances such as “Tecuanis”, “Vaqueros” and “Doce Pares de Francia”.
On July 26th, the patronal feast day in honor of Saint Anne is celebrated with masses, prayers, processions, fireworks, music bands and dances such as “Tecuanis”, “Vaqueros” and “Doce Pares de Francia”. Holy Week is solemnly celebrated (March or April); on November 1st and 2nd, All Saints' Day is commemorated with offerings and floral arrangements.
