Parish church in Huatlatlauca from the 16th century, in honour of the Three Wise Men. The most outstanding feature of this convent complex is its coffered ceiling, which is of large dimensions and covers the entire choir loft of the church, and includes in its carving representations of yucca flowers and angels with magnificent long robes.
Huatlatlauca is a municipality in the state of Puebla. Its name means “Mountainous place where the water turns red.” It currently has a peculiar historical structure such as the 16th century parish temple, in honor of the Three Wise Men, the main festival. It is derived from the same that January 6 is the patron saint's day of the Holy Kings, with masses, prayers, fireworks, another tourist attraction of the town is the Ex-Agustino Ex-convent that dates back to the 16th century, it is located in the municipal seat.
On January 6th, the patronal feast of the Three Kings is celebrated, with masses, prayers, and fireworks. Holy Week is solemnly celebrated, and on November 1st and 2nd, All Saints' Day is commemorated with offerings and floral arrangements.
