The Church of Santa Maria Nenetzintla in Acajete, is a religious colonial-type construction located in the town of Santa Maria Nenetzintla a few kilometers from the municipal seat of Acajete.
Acajete is a municipality in the state of Puebla (Mexico). It is located in the central part of the state of Puebla. It has beautiful historical monuments such as the Parish of Acajete Santa María de la Asunción, which dates back to the 16th century, year 1650, the House of Culture. “Acaxetl” and the Church of Santa Isabel Tepetzala from the 15th century and the year 1563, the main festival is celebrated on August 6, the festival of Our Father Jesus, among the main attractions are natural beauties located on the slopes of Malinche, as well as a disused railway station that is located 3 minutes from the center of Acajete with good access conditions.

The carnival in which the neighborhoods compete with dances in which they dress up as dominoes with colorful cassocks decorated with sequins, in addition to the zouaves who are a parody of the French soldier with the bearded mask and the sabre with the leggings that sound to the beat of the music, dancing in the streets of the town, ending with a costum
