Where inhabitants of the municipality of Aljojuca mention that a treasure is buried. Previously it was a fort, the Spanish used it as a passage from Veracruz-Mexico-Puebla, in the year 1702, the Franciscans lived there, they built a chapel in order to evangelize the natives. It is said that it was built with lime from virgin stone, bull's blood, cactus slime and egg yolk and is 400 years old.

Municipality

Aljojuca is a municipality in the state of Puebla, Mexico. It is located between the towns of El Seco and Ciudad Serdán, the main architectural monument is the Parroquia church, built in the 16th century, as well as the Calvario church, whose construction was completed at the beginning of the 19th century, where there are oil paintings dating from 1907, there is also the former Caxcantla hacienda, where the inhabitants claim that a treasure is buried. One of its eco-tourist attractions is La Laguna de Aljojuca, the Aljojuca lagoon at first glance looks like a crater, to get to it it is recommended to follow a series of paths that make the descent a very pleasant experience.
