The Temple of San Miguel Arcángel was decorated from 1979 to 1981 and still has a mosaic floor from the 1930s. The main facade of the temple is made of clay and tile. At the top of the main door there is a semicircular arch, which contains the image of San Miguel Arcángel. The temple is located on Independencia Street s/n., in the town of San Miguel Xaltipa.

Festivities

In honor of the patron saint, San Bernardino, the celebration begins on May 10 with masses in the mornings and rosaries in the afternoons. On May 19 at noon, the town's artisans set up shop in the main square to exhibit their textiles and fabrics for the duration of the fair. In the center there are mechanical rides, tents, puppets, foosball, raffles, lotteries, games of chance, stands selling plastic toys, china, fruit, candy, Mexican snacks and traditional festive bread. Finally, during the days of the fair there are sporting and cultural events at different times.
