This is a small community in Los Cabos, located on Mexico's Federal Highway 1, about 45 kilometers north of San José del Cabo. It is also home to the only zoo in Baja California Sur. Very close to Santiago, we can find the hot springs that are: Santa Rita, El Chorro and Agua Caliente. Also close to the community is the Sol de Mayo Ecological Ranch, where there is an incredible oasis with a small waterfall.
Los Cabos is one of the five municipalities of the state of Baja California Sur before being called San José del Cabo, the Pericues named it Anuiti, it also received the name of San Bernabé, it is one of the most important tourist destinations in Mexico, for its variety of eco-tourism destinations and activities such as the Natural Arch of Cabo San Lucas, whale watching and various beaches.
The most important festivities in the area are Saint Joseph's Day and the founding of San José del Cabo, during which they wear traditional clothing such as the Pitahaya Flower and Cuera dresses.
