It has a rich diversity of flora and fauna that generates a unique set of biological and ecological processes. The connectivity between these islands is crucial for many species of sharks, there is also the largest aggregation of giant manta rays, humpback whales visit the waters around the islands in the winter months. It is located in the Pacific Ocean 400 km south of Cabo San Lucas. Diving is practiced to observe whale sharks, but also to see hammerhead sharks that are found on Roca Partida Island between May and August.
