The Fiesta Grande of Chiapa de Corzo takes place from January 4 to 23, 2019, it celebrates mestizo integration with a community ritual better known as the Fiesta Grande of Chiapa, this festival is also famous for the colorful parade of the parachicos, of allegorical cars where the queen of the Festival, represented by the legendary figure of the benefactor María de Ángulo, walks through the streets, the simulation of naval combat with fireworks that takes place on the Grijalva River on the night of the 21st.
