The Church of San Gregorio in Chiapa de Corzo is a neoclassical style temple, built at the end of the 20th century. Its façade was built facing west, in front of the ancient ruin of the Church of San Sebastián, probably because the indigenous people erected both façades in honor of the God of the Sun. It is of simple construction, with a single nave, the sacristy was built after the temple.
