Finca Irlanda in Tapachula is a company dedicated to the production of the highest quality organic biodynamic high-altitude coffee as its main product; in addition to cocoa, cardamom and honey, it is the first farm in the world to obtain the organic-biodynamic certificate in 1967 from the Demeter Bund certification agency in Germany.
Tapachula is one of the municipalities of the state of Chiapas, between the Sierra Madre and the Pacific Coastal Plain. Tapachula, in the Nahuatl language, means Tapacholla. Among the tourist attractions of this municipality are its beaches such as Playa Linda and Laguna Pozuelo, tourist centers, parks, traditional festivals and its coffee route.
In Tapachula, the following festivals are celebrated: San Benito, the Costa Chiapas International Expo, the San Agustín festival, the Jesús de la Buena Esperanza festival, the San Miguel festival, the San Sebastián festival, the San Caralampio festival and the Virgen de Guadalupe festival. In the town of Carrillo Puerto, a festival is held from January 7 to 15.
