The El Corralito Waterfall in Oxchuc is located in the El Corralito area, a community of the Tsotsil ethnic group, 19 km from the municipal capital of the municipality of Oxchuc, with a semi-temperate sub-humid climate, consisting of a set of small natural pools, considered as reservoirs under the shade of abundant trees native to the region.
Oxchuc is an indigenous municipality located 48 km from San Cristóbal de las Casas, in the State of Chiapas, Mexico. The predominant ethnic group is the Tzeltal. Its name means Three Knots in the Tzeltal language. The main tourist attractions are the coniferous forest landscapes and a waterfall on the Mesbiljá River. In addition, the colonial-style church serves as a setting for the municipality's religious festivities.
