The Lagunas de Montebello National Park in La Trinitaria is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful natural sites in the country, due to its aquatic environments, both surface and underground, originated by its karst nature, framed by dense pine forests, oak groves and mixed forests with the striking presence of bromeliads and orchids. The lakes are uvalas, that is, ancient cenotes that the corrosion of the limestone rock and landslides have been joining together over time. The colors of its waters are due to the soil at the bottom, the vegetation and the light.
